Our journey began with a shared vision. Inspired by the devastating effects of plastic waste on marine life, our founders, Ariadne Dimoula (CEO) and Claudia Lowd (CTO), envisioned a future where packaging biodegrades naturally, nourishing the environment instead of harming it. Ariadne, a passionate ocean advocate and blue-tech innovator, translates science into ocean-friendly packaging that resonates with consumers. Her visionary leadership and expertise bridge the gap, empowering her team to develop real-world solutions. Her vision is complemented by Claudia, whose expertise in sustainable pulp and paper engineering fuels a team fueled by scientific knowledge and unwavering dedication to a better tomorrow.
Our core mission is to replace the top ten most prevalent plastic polluters in our oceans with ocean-safe, fish-friendly alternatives. We achieve this by harnessing the power of cellulose microfibers, a natural and renewable resource derived from trees.
P3RD.EARTH packaging solutions are designed with a holistic approach. We create strong, functional products that are also ocean-compostable, breaking down harmlessly in the marine environment. This eliminates the risk of entanglement for marine life and fosters a cleaner, healthier ocean ecosystem.
